OSADA LACHÓW

Community (Gmina) Nowomalin

District (Powiat) Zdołbunów

In the absence of information about the Lachów Settlement we are only providing a list of the settlers living there. As Mrs Stefania Borowa (née Kacperska) from the Kurhany Settlement mentioned, it was established by soldiers of the 21st Infantry Regiment.

It was drawn up by Mrs Julia Prochorowicz, the wife of a settler from that settlement who, despite her old age, regularly took part with her daughter Irena in Kresy Settler Families conventions, which had been organised for ten years (until the book was published) in the ‘Osada’ [Settlement] Scouts House in Fenton, Lincolnshire, England.

The settlers from the Lachów Settlement were: Michał Batko, Roman Baczewski, Kuśnierz, Wincenty Filarowski, Piotr Chodkiewicz, Grędziak, Malinowski, Leon Lipiński, Milczewski, Panek, Jan Prochorowicz, Sowiński, Słapczyński, Szymanowski, Józef Stobiński, Stanisław Stobiński, Stanisław Węgiel, Franciszek Prytt, Wacław Widmański, Leon Widmański, Krzyżański, Pachuta, Gniazdorz, Żurkowski, and Zieliński.
