My father, Corporal Bolesław Krasnodębski, who served in the Lithuanian-Belarusian Battalion  between 1918-1920, received his plot of land in the Natalin settlement. The land measured 8 hectacres, and the settlement consisted of ten settlers. Their children attended the school in Józefpol. A local publication was distributed titled "Nasza Okolica" [Our Neighbourhood].
